Karen Estes Dudley - Founder/Senior Pastor
Email Karen Estes

Karen Estes Dudley was born in  Oklahoma and is the mother of three. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in 1995, specializing in Urban and Pastoral Ministries. Dudley is an Ordained Minister and for the past 17 years has been ministering the Word of God in the streets and jails throughout the metroplex of the Dallas/Ft Worth area.

In 1997, Karen founded and is currently pastoring the DALLAS INTERNATIONAL STREET CHURCH (DISC) in Dallas, Texas. The DISC is a ministry geared to meeting the needs of God's most broken people through Spiritual, Emotional, Physical and Educational Renewal. In February 2004, DISC moved from downtown to South Dallas, a notorious drug area. Children and families, whose lives are splintered, are being affected by nightly church services, programs for children, Bible Studies, free meals and free clothing distribution.

In Rev. Dudley's ministry to the most broken of God's people, she has established men's and women's discipleship programs, children's programs, ministered to families, the homeless, those in jail and coming out of jail, male and female prostitutes, crack addicts and alcoholics. She has truly reached down into the trenches and brought God's people out, one by one, as He has led, with the unending Love and Forgiveness of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Karen Dudley is an inspirational and dynamic motivational speaker. In her presentation, she shares the "How To" of planting an inner city work, as well as sustaining and growing this work. It has been a total walk of faith as she has been completely dependent upon and taught of the Lord. Her work, as been said, is a "Modern Day Miracle of God". She is eager to share her knowledge and experiences in an effort to assist you in establishing your urban work, or to show you ways in which your church or organization can become involved with The DALLAS INTERNATIONAL STREET CHURCH reaching into this vast harvest of souls in urban America.

Curtis Wilson - Assistant Pastor
Email Curtis

Curtis as came to the Dallas International Street Church as a runaway preacher.  For five years he avoided the responsibility God place on his life to preach the "Good News" of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, by his mother and step father who provided him with a wonderful childhood. After graduating high school he went on to Tampa Technical Institute where he earned a Associates of Science in Computer Engineering Technology and made the Dean's List for perfect attendance.  This attracted the attention of Texas Instruments where he was employed as an Engineering Tech.  Curtis began to live life in the proverbial "fast lane", partying and using drugs.  This lifestyle lead him down the path of addiction and homelessness.  Today Curtis is drug free and only attends praise parties for the Lord.  He has been with the Dallas International Street Church for since 2003.  He has served as Youth Minister, Discipleship Director and is currently serving as Assistant Pastor.  Curtis has continues to further his education earning a degree in Pastoral Ministry, Advanced Ministries, an Associates of Science in Biblical Studies and will continue on his Masters and Phd. in Theology.  Curtis plans are to teach on day at the university level.

Roy Collins - Pastor - Discipleship Director/Operations Manager
Email Roy

Roy Collins had a promising career playing semi-professional football which afforded him several opprtunities to travel.  His bigest fan was his wife to whom he had been married for 12 years.  Enjoying the benefits of a successful sports career Roys' life appeared to be on track.   He possessed all the trimmings that went along with his career; homes, cars, etc.  However, during the height of his career Roy became addicted to crack cocaine.  The drug abuse slowly ruined his marraige and career.  Unfortunately, Roy did not see it coming.  After a three day drug binge inwhich Roy spent his entire check, he returned home to find the locks had been changed.  His wife wouldn't even answer the door.  For her, this last time was her last time.  They were eventualy divorced.  It wasn't long before Roy found himself homeless.  For the next six months Roy lived outdooors like some kind of animal without bathing, losing weight and wearing the same clothes for weeks at a time.  Eventually when Roy got tired of his lifestyle he was ready to get clean and sober.  He came to the Dallas International Street Church in 2006 and his life has never been the same.  God quickly began to deliver Roy.  He began teaching bible studies and was elevated to to Director of Discipleship a position he hold today.   Roy is married to Mia Tell and they are believing God that they soon will be pastoring a church of thier own.

Ronnie Perkins - Elder - Praise/Worship - Community Outreach Coordinator
Email Ronnie

Ronnie was raised by a single mom who was very active in the church. In the absence of his father his mother believed that God would fill the void left by his father. Ronnie found life in the church a great thing.  However, Ronnie held a secret.  At the tender age of 7, Ronnie was molested by a friend of the family.  Ronnie was afraid to tell anyone about it.  He even thought God wasn't aware of this secret which left Ronnie feeling shameful.  This shame possesses Ronnie even in his adulthood.  The result of the abuse and shame was a lifestyle that kept Ronnie in the shadows. Being a part of the gay community was a lonely and empty time for Ronnie.  He longed for the presence of God but did not know that God loved him.  He believed God hated him.  Ronnie eventually contracted HIV and attempted to use crack cocaine to dull the pain.  After being homeless for some time, Ronnie met Pastor Karen Dudley of the Dallas International Street Church.  Through Pastor Karen, Ronnie was able to experience the compassion and love of God.  The ministry was a safe haven  for Ronnie.  Now delivered and walking in his healing, Ronnie's life has been dramatically changed.  For the last 12 years Ronnie has been serving Pastor Karen and the Dallas International Street Church in various capacities. He is currently the Worship Leader, Elder and Church Liaison.  Ronnie,s passion is to lead people into the presence of God through praise and worship.  He also has a heart of ministry for those who have fallen into guilt and shame because of destructive lifestyles.

Darell Smith - Administrative Assistant
Email Darell

Growing up in Los Angeles, the youngest of five children, and having a different father, it did not take long for Darell to think he was different.  While in Junior High School, Darell found a group of friends that he could identify with.  These friendships were strengthened by rebellion and drug use.  At age 17, Darell was introduced to crack cocaine.  This was the beginning of several years of addiction and prison.  In 1993 Darell gave his life to Christ and went into a discipleship program.  With much zeal and little knowledge Darell, served in the ministry for several years.  In 2005 Darell's life was torn apart after a bad relationship.  Due to lack of knowedge and poor coping skills, Darell returned to drugs.  On April 27, 2005 Darell enterd into Teen Challeng of Southern California.  and renewed his relationship with Christ. After completing Teen Challenge, Darell went on to graduate from the Teen Challenge Ministry Institute.  Darell has several years of ministry experience having worked for Calvary Chapel, LA Dream Center, the Teen Challenge Ministry Institute and Teen/Life Challenge of Dallas and Teen Challenge of Atlanta.  Darell currently serves as the Administrative Assistant to Pastor Karen Dudley.
