NON-PERISHABLE ITEM DRIVE!
DISC is in need of NON-PERISHABLE ITEMS.
Would you, your Church, Sunday School Class or other organization be willing to sponsor this drive for the poor in our community?
We are gathering a 30 day supply of canned goods, toliet paper, and other personal items to have on hand during this economic time.
The people we minister to are either homeless or live in a much below poverty situation. Food and other items are scarce. The food that we have is used on a daily basis to feed the people in and around our ministry, which adds up to about 150 meals per day. We anticipate there will be more coming for help... We feel led of the Lord to stock our shelves in this time of need.
