On any given day or night, DISC has drug dealers and users, prostitutes, mentally ill, formerly incarcerated, broken families and broken people stopping by the church for a hot meal, clothing, a place to lay their head, and the love of Jesus.

 The above sketch is a drawing of our future church as envisioned by one of our current disciples, James Galloway.  We don't have this building as yet, but "we call those things that are not as though they are"!  Our God is Able!!!!

DISC HAS AN ANONYMOUS DONOR WHO WILL MATCH THE FIRST $100,000 GIVEN FOR OUR BUILDING PROGRAM!!!!

MINISTRY UPDATE:

We are well underway with our "cosmetic rennovation"!  Our two buildings are getting the final touch of paint; our parking lot is "graveled"; the church steeple will be coming shortly; the bathrooms are being made wheelchair accessible!  The list goes on! We are striving to be not only a spiritual oasis in South Dallas, but a good representative of our Lord Jesus Christ in our physical appearance as well.  Many people have stepped up to help us of which we are more than grateful.  We believe God is taking us to a new level and we want to be ready!  The harvest is truly plentiful and the laborers are few!  There are many areas of ministry opportunity available for those who are called.  Please call me, Karen Dudley, 214-650-0231, to see how you can help in this great soul harvest in the inner city of Dallas.
